This is good. I like this.
A nice article about the Lady Cards basketball team. Worth the long read. :)
2. Louisville at Kentucky, Dec. 31 (noon ET on CBS) -- There's nothing like a New Year's Eve tilt between these two hated rivals. The fan bases despise one another -- and there's no shortage of disdain between the coaches, either. The fact that they only play once puts them in front of Duke-UNC. 8. Memphis at Louisville, Dec. 17 (4 p.m. ET on CBS) -- The former C-USA rivalry has been renewed and the timing is ideal -- as both programs have no shortage of talent. 11. Vanderbilt at Louisville, Dec. 2 (8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN) -- Vandy has everyone back and this is Kevin Stallings' best chance to contend for a Final Four. Rick Pitino's team has a blend of experience and talented young freshmen. 28. Louisville at Syracuse, March 3 (4 p.m. ET on CBS) -- The regular-season finale could hold championship implications. Peyton Siva and Scoop Jardine will be two of the league's top point guards. 34. Louisville at Pittsburgh, Jan. 21 (9 p.m. ET on ESPN) -- This is another one of those Big East can't-miss games. It's awfully tough to win on Jamie Dixon's homecourt. 40. Louisville at Butler, Nov. 19 (2 p.m. ET on ESPN3) -- We'll see how good Brad Stevens' team is right out of the gates when they face Pitino's Cardinals.
I was reminiscing the other day about our badass team from 2008-09. I put this video of the "Fight Montage" together a couple years ago for fans to enjoy. Hope we get back to this level SOON!
One Big East team made ESPN's preseason Top 25, Pittsburgh at #14, marking an 100% infinite increase in representation from last year's preseason rankings for the conference.
Other notables: WVU and Cincinnati are ranked 26th and 27th respectively while UCONN comes in at 31st. Oregon State is ranked 23rd; Louisville travels to Corvallis, OR on Sep 18th to face the Beavers.
Former Louisville Cardinal & Male Bulldog Michael Bush talks to Drew Deener about the Oakland Raiders, Charlie Strong, the 2002 Kentucky 4A Championship Game and advises fantasy football owners on his potential value this season. Note to Raiders: Michael Bush + Wildcat Formation = Win H/t: 790 WKRD
Good stuff from A Sea of Blue.
Two nights ago I dreamt that Guy caught a touchdown pass against UK. Later that same night I dreamt that I was back in high school and Steve Beurlein was my first period teacher, so that first vision isn't exactly a lock to go down.
The divide between myself and technology grew a bit wider this morning. Perhaps there really isn't any hope of understanding.
