On his 18th birthday, Lakewood High WR Marquez Valdes verbally committed to Louisville, becoming the 10th commit in Charlie Strong's 2013 class and the second receiver alongside 3-star wideout CJ Cooper of Raleigh, NC.

Todd Barr, a 6'3" 265 pound strongside defensive end from Lakewood, California, committed to the California Golden Bears today. Barr is one of the more underrated defensive lineman in the 2011 college football recruiting class; Tosh Lupoi was his major recruiter.
