Big time get for Rich Brooks and company.

I'm shocked I tell you, shocked.

At least Kentucky's 72nd.

I did not see this one coming. I always assumed that Hartline would start the opener, but that Pulley would end up taking the majority of the snaps. Interesting that this comes less than a week after Brooks said Pulley would, "miss some games, a game or parts of a game or games." Apparently something or some things changed significantly.

Paul Warford, one of Kentucky's projected starting cornerbacks, has been declared academically ineligible for the 2008 season.

According to Rich Brooks, the recently arrested UK quarterback "could miss games or a game or parts of games." Pretty vague, but I'd still be shocked if we saw him on the field on Aug. 31.

Las Vegas Sports Consultants Inc. released its opening lines for the first weekend of college football this morning, and had Louisville as a three point favorite over Kentucky. Since then, the Cards have jumped to a 5 1/2 point favorite. Yeah, it's another slow day, and I'm still trying to get back into the flow of things after the weekend. I'm sorry.
