It really is just a game, but the resulting relationships are very real.

My heart goes out
to the man that has to replace him.

Revealing
The clip not only reveals the nature of Mr. Bill's influence on those closest to him, but it also reveals a side of Coach Pitino of which I was ignorant.

No one can offer such a heart-felt eulogy without, in fact, having a pretty deep and sincere heart.  The man is obviously more than just a rich and talented basketball coach.

Touching
I have no connection to Mr. Bill Keightley nor any love for the blue school, but it certainly seems that this gentleman had a profound effect on nearly anyone that has ever known him, and that is very impressive.  May he rest in peace.

As to Coach Pitino's comments, after listening to them in full, it makes me very, very proud that he coaches the university that I love and support.

I disagree w/theoldman; I think great orators can deliver what appear to be heartfelt eulogies w/o much sincerity at all but yet it's obvious after watching this video that Rick cared deeply for "Mr. Bill."

On a lighter note, my high school bball coach (JM) made his first CardChronicle appearance, to the right of John Pelphrey near the end of the clip.
