2008 football schedule released

Plan your life accordingly :

2008 Louisville Football Schedule

Initial thought: Wednesday? Really? I understand that this is Ryder Cup weekend so having the game moved was imperative, but...Wednesday? It's also sort of strange seeing just the one Thursday night game, although having at least five Saturday home games is definitely a welcome change.

My mind is about as far from football as it'll ever be right now, but I'm sure some small part of me somewhere is yearning to have beer spilled on my head by an obese man behind me on a crisp autumn Friday night.

wow
8 Home games? I am amazed.

Last year I was upset at how weak our schedule was, this year not so much. We need a weak schedule

Football budget
is there one game on this list that you would pay more than face value for the ticket.

In years past I could have sold my student tix to just one game and recouped (that's a word, right?) the cost of the entire season.

This year, not so much

I'd pay above face value to sit...
in the front row behind the UCONN bench...I wouldn't even WATCH the game.

Heckling Larry Taylor
would certainly be worth the price of admission.

unfortunately he was a senior...
but Edsall has more then his share of heckling due for handing that SOB the gameball after that.

Just to show 'em we have a good memory
we ought to dismantle WHICHEVER UConn
player happens to be the unlucky
roulette player on the first punt

Ok, I'll say it
If we win out, we're going to the BCS, baby!

I hate 8 home games
Tickets cost too much anyway and I would only want to see 4 or maybe 5 of those games. At lease most of the games are on Saturday. What a waste of money and time. Cut out the fat and play a real schedule.
