Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

What to watch: 2/20/08

North Carolina at North Carolina State (7 p.m./ESPN)

My 5 star lock of the day is that the Pack will keep this one under 31. Take it to the bank.

Marquette at St. John's (7 p.m./ESPN2)

I haven't looked, but because ESPN is covering this game I'm going to say that there's a 1,000% chance that it's being played at Madison Square Garden...and that Marquette will win.

South Florida at Cincinnati (7 p.m./ESPNU)

If the Bearcats win, they'll be just one victory away from locking up at least a .500 record in the conference. Mick Cronin for Big East Coach of the Year.

Penn State at Michigan State (7 p.m./Big Ten Network)

Sparty is for blood after the Nittany Lions pulled the upset two weeks ago in Happy Valley. This means Michigan State will win by at least six points.

Memphis at Tulane (8 p.m./CSTV)

Jerald Honeycutt and LeVelcro Simmons look to take out the last unbeaten in college basketball.

South Carolina at Florida (FSN South/Raycom/ESPN Plus)

Good God the first day of the SEC Tournament is going to suck.

West Virginia at Villanova (8 p.m./SNY/ESPN Plus)

Enormous game for Huggy and the Hillbillies' NCAA Tournament hopes. I'll take 'Nova.

Kansas State at Nebraska (9 p.m./ESPN2)

Two-hours of pure, unadulterated fellatious Michael Beasley action.

Wisconsin at Illinois (9 p.m./Big Ten Network)

Is this a rivalry game? I can't keep track anymore.

Duke at Miami (FL) (9 p.m./Raycom/Sun Sports)

Yet another large tilt for a team sitting squarely on the champagne cork. This was my first attempt at trying to eliminate the word "bubble" form the college basketball lexicon. There will be more, they will be worse.

AND THE LUNAR ECLIPSE!!!
Come on, Mike, leave your couch once and look at the moon outside!  It's still a total eclipse right now!

Not everything has to be sports ;)

That's what that is?
I guess I can stop crying and come out of the basement.

I still will not watch the "news" or read "news websites" or use "basic mathematics."
