Louisville vs. Marquette
This game will be the most important game of the year for U of L.  Marquette will be the best team we will have faced up to now and should show us where the team's collective head is at this time.  They will show us how much the Cards are willing to listen to and buy into what Pitino is telling them.  What will Sosa do tonight.  Will Palacios keep improving and how will Padgetts knees hold up?  Who will come to play.  It's a great opportunity for our team to stand up and play like we all know they can.  I think they will do it right.  Go Cards!

What in the hell....
...was that wing flap thing that Sosa did after he hit a three in the first half???

I'd sure like to have a bigger lead at the half considering UM's miserable shooting... But I guess I can't complain too much about holding them to 19 and  having the lead most of the game.

Classless
When James went down on the phantom bump by Padgett, you witnessed why Mike Crean is a jackass and he surrounds himself with a herd just like him.  James was hurt.  Every player on the court could see it but it took far too long for anyone on the Marquette bench to get out there.  When they did, it was some guy with an orange clipboard and Crean just gave a nonchalant glance.  Once he made it to the bench, more of the same.  The coaches leaned over next to him but no one seemed to really care.  The other players noticed.

I cant understand how that ass keeps suckering players to play for him.

Marquette is now a clear #2 in the hatred category.  They are ahead of Cincy and Memphis (although if we played Memphis all the time, things would be different).

Good win Cards.

Crean is a terd
I'm suprised he didn't yell at James, "He's faking! He's faking!" You know, just like he did when Ellis was hurt.

Yep, that was a great win
I never thought I'd live to see the day when the Cards would have a strong inside game with plenty of depth. I almost don't believe it. I'm afraid someone will pinch me and I will wake up from the glorious dream that is having  Padgett, Caracter, Palacious, and Clark all relatively healthy and getting productive minutes. It's a glorious feeling.

And yeah, we won because I saw those cardinals in my backyard today.

We Creaned 'em!
Dominating!

Won both halves again

Wave after wave of big, talented bodies (like LL says, I can't remember Cards ever before having that depth in front court)

Weak link Sosa continues to look better...last 3 games his assists/turnovers about even

In the second half, T Will was brilliant

And David Padgett...just unbelievable
