Gyrating "Go Cards," you're done son. We need some new mojo to turn this season around, so meet....

GO CARDS BABY!

If we lose today then the blame lies squarely on the minuscule shoulders of this infant.

Let's do this fellas.

From Brian Bennett
Peanut Whitehead is not with the team, and no Harry Douglas in warmups. Looks like no HD this afternoon.

Thanks for nothing Go Cards baby.

He left the team to deal with "family issues"

Maybe now we'll get to see Scott Long, et al.

I have a good feeling about today. I mean, KRAG is our coach for the rest of the season at least, I have to hope he's figured something out and the D is going to put it all together.

It is an 8-game season now. Just get better every game, that's all we can ask for at this point.

Question for Mike?
Do you live-blog these or check the computer at all, or will you just post at half?

Can't decide if I'm going to post during game or if anyone else will be. Most of the time I need some sort of outlet for my ramblings and frustrations and my wife is asleep.

No Live Blog
Computer checking is usually pretty sporadic during games.

uh oh the first play
Okay, he missed it.  Why do I feel like I need to duck with every defensive snap.

Depends
I liked Rod Council jumping some tail after they made that first down.  Someone needs to step up and take command.

Still, they moved the ball pretty easily.

What are the odds we can get sasquatch to play D line.  Not much of a pass rush huh?

Agreed
Council was right to get on Buchanan. Interesting to see Johnny Patrick out there.

Can't tell if we are covered deep, or if  Brohm is out of his comfort zone with HD out, but, he does not look comfortable.

That should have been an int.

And almost a fumble...

Love seeing Brock in there.

Any thoughts that Mario may come out of his shell?

Not art's fault
Is anyone else having trouble getting into this game because of ESPNU's coverage?

This is terrible to watch. SHOW THE GAME!

I have no idea what's going on.

But it's so important to learn that in Raleigh they grill food at their tailgating!  ITS SO REVOLUTIONARY.

How else are we going to find time to confuse Stripling and Allen and Art Comedy?

Wait,
You mean that in Raleigh they actually GRILL before the game?  What a great idea... We should do that, hey lets do that before the next game.  Bet some Beer would go well too.

Well, it took a long time to get the first personal foul!

Offense is the new defense?
Council gets a pick.

Offensive play calls:  1st, Draw up the middle for loss.  2nd, Short pass over the middle to Urrutia for a yard.  3rd, BLIND toss up into the endzone into coverage, incomplete.  4th, FG.

Apparently when we don't have HD no one has a clue how to score a TD with a starting position at the 30 yard line.

by faninlex on Sep 29, 2007 4:48 PM EDT reply actions

And again
Another turnover...

1st:  Over throw Urrutia by about 10 feet. 2nd:  Run up the middle for loss. 3rd:  BLIND toss up into coverage, incomplete. 4th: Punt.

How eerily similar.

Good pick on Carmody, Mike
He's the man today thus far. Money as always...when he gets blocking.

that Brock Bolen has been hurt...and that he's awesome.

Kragthorpes team now
I think Coach Krags took over the team today. This wasn't his team up to now. He was a bystander. This was a players team. He was emotional and animated today. I really feel like he became the head coach today and not just the interim manager, trying not to screw something up.   Freddy
