Cards fall 11 spots in BlogPoll

The week three installment of the BlogPoll was released yesterday, and Louisville dropped 11 spots from No. 10 to No. 21. The bloggers should be commended for rightfully placing Kentucky (No. 17) ahead of the Cards, punishing Texas, Wisconsin and Virginia Tech more for their sluggish starts than either of the two major national polls, and for getting Cincinnati into the poll at No. 25.

For the second straight week LSU sits atop the poll, which looks like this:

  1. LSU (34)
  2. USC (27)
  3. Oklahoma (1)
  4. Florida (3)
  5. West Virginia
  6. California
  7. Ohio State
  8. Penn State
  9. Texas
  10. Oregon
  11. Boston College
  12. Wisconsin
  13. Rutgers
  14. South Carolina
  15. Alabama
  16. Clemson
  17. Kentucky
  18. South Florida
  19. Texas A&M
  20. Missouri
  21. Louisville
  22. Georgia
  23. Virginia Tech
  24. Hawaii
  25. Cincinnati
Additionally, I'm happy to announce that I won a poll award for the first time since becoming a voter before the start of last season, nabbing "The Straight Bangin' Award" which is basically given to the voter who hates their team the most.

You can check out the ballot of each voter here, or how each voter ranked Louisville here.
