Bilal Powell Highlight Video

For the extreme minority of you who were unable to make it out to each Lake Gibson High School (Fla.) football game in 2006, here's a very impressive highlight video of soon-to-be Louisville freshman Bilal Powell.

While he starred as a running back in high school and may get an early look at the position once summer practice starts, the most likely scenario for Powell once he dons the red and white involves him moving to defensive back, a position he also played at Lake Gibson. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed by this, because he's doing things in that video that high school kids aren't supposed to be able to do.

Powell also took up track this year in an effort to improve his speed in the offseason, and ended up finishing fourth in the 100 at the state finals, which, in Florida, is saying something.
