Video of Valvano's Kick

For the past few days I've been steadfastedly praying (to Earl Monroe) that video of Bob Valvano's failed extra point attempt during last week's Louisville Fire game would surface. Well boys and girls, brace yourself for the following:

There are so many hilarious aspects of this video that demand attention, namely how serious Valvano took this thing. Judging by the pregame interview you would have thought he was about to pinch hit against Dennis Eckersley in the bottom of the ninth of game one of the World Series.

As for Will Wofford, I've always secretly possessed a great deal of admiration for those ballsy individuals who wear #69, so kudos sir. It's a bold move whether you're a giggling prepuscent boy or a full-grown adult male who hosts his own radio show.

The kick itself is actually somewhat impressive, and the casual Arena 2 football fan (as opposed to the many rabid Arena 2 hooligans) might have had some trouble noticing that this wasn't the actual Fire kicker, had not #7 appeared to be what I can only imagine Jon Lovitz would look like if he ever donned football garb.

A far cry from Garo Yepremian, yes, but Art Carmody he ain't.

lighten up, francis
Valvano seems genuinely devastated over the miss.  Buck up, little camper.

Disturbing
The Homer Simpson in a football uniform look is not the most disturbing part of this video.  Its that Fire player at the end that slaps Bob on that butt that gives me the chills.

Good Lord.  I just finished eating.

NICE!
Sounds like someone has some "insecurity" issues themselves.

There's something to out there to help guys like you...

www.cialis.com

Get off the guy's back.  I give him points for trying which is more than I can say for this website.  Nice graphic!  I saw the same pic in my mother-in-law's latest issue of "Home Lawn & Garden".

Amature Hour....errrr your comments on the video hold just about as much credibility as this thing you call a website.

Sounds like somebody's a little bitter they couldn't break into radio.

Memo to "Mike":  Climb out of your mother's basement, drop about 80 pounds, pound down a couple of viagra and get yourself a life.

You're definitely missing something.

BTW...this website really does suck.  That graphic cracks me up!!  OOOhhhhh that's soooo intimidating!

To clarify
I like Valvano, a lot actually, I just think it's hilarious how serious he took kicking an extra point in an Arena Football game. Of course put in a similar situation I'd probably behave the same way, and would fully expect some twenty-something with a computer to lovingly rip on me for it.

The graphic was given to me by SBN, I didn't create it and in all honesty am not overly fond of it.

Cialis jokes? Come on dude. You might as well call me the weakest link.

Basement Humor....errrr....
I think we have a real Jim Rome fan posting on this site.

God help us.  I thought scripted talk radio was enough, allowing it to bleed over to local blogs is too much.

And to clarify, I do have issues St. Thomas.  I think I love you.

sthomas=valvano ???
Where was Bob Valvano when sthomas posted? Sthomas has taken on the role of moderator of the internet. Its a busy job. Better get back to work, there are about 10 million other websites and comment threads where people make fun of other people. I like my mom's basement, its the perfect temp and when I have nightmares shes right upstairs to come and tuck me in.

I know "Mike" personally, and I'm pretty confident that he pulls more ass than you ever will.
