New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

Rich Rodriguez to Michigan

Bad day for the Big East. Worse day for West Virginia.

Reason No. 446 college football's postseason sucks: The annual coaching carousel that takes place right before what is supposed to be the reward for fantastic regular seasons. I mean Fiesta Bowl appearances only happen so often, and now WVU has to face Oklahoma three weeks after this?

This sport is so screwed up.

I guess Petrino and RR felt the need
to leave with just wks left

because of recruiting at their new schools.

Screwed up--but coaches have been fired with games left too.

College players and fans are just the pawns in this high level "corporate exec" chess match

not only are we pawns--but we're forced to pay! ( or in players' case, not get paid their true worth)

Mike, you're right
This sport is screwed up.  I wish that I didn't love it so much.

I just heard that a private plane has just taken off from Fayetteville headed for Morgantown.

change!
What really gets me is everyone i know complains about the bcs but they still watch all the bowl,,,,,I cant blame anyone who watches their fav team in a bowl,,but we should all just wise up and stop watching these garbage bowls till they do the right thing and have a playoff!!If their ratings fell for just one or two years they would change to a playoff,,,I for one wont be watching any of these meaningless bowl games this year!!
CARDS RULE!!BRONCOS RULE!!MIKE CASSITY SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED RIGHT AFTER THE KY GAME!!!

I feel bad for WVA
they were on the cusp of greatness, then Pitt beats them, White loses out on the Heisman, and they miss the BCS title game.  Now this.  I know they will get a good one, but I know the BCS brouhaha about the Big East will start up again, just wait.

It just goes to show...
Sadly, it just confirms that if you're not Texas, USC, Michigan, OSU, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, or Alabama, then you're just a stepping stone.  Sad, but true.
Go Cards!
