So apparently there is a Student Section of the Year award going on at I Love College Hoops' Facebook page. The top 16 student sections who get the most votes move on to the round of 8.

The top 16 student sections so far are: Kansas, Purdue, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Utah State, Indiana, Duke, Syracuse, West By God Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Cal, Pittsburgh, Colorado, Drexel and Arizona.

We are on the bubble of making it, along with Michigan, Texas A&M, New Mexico, Virginia and Arizona State.

Voting ends at 11:59 PM TONIGHT (Sunday) so spread the word to as many people as possible! It would be great if we could get a mention in the top 16. :)

Got bored this afternoon and made this little guy - posted in FanShots at first, but the compression on SBNation sucks - even here there is a nasty halo-effect. Note: This is a first draft. Once I get some trace paper I will go back and really clean it up - and make it look extra sexy. Its based on Dunking Cardinal, but he has updated shoes, updated jersey, head and the body is based off the cues from the head.

So, I got the weekend off. Yay. You don't really care because you've probably got stuff to do. Dude, go do it. No, seriously, go.

Ok, now I can sleep at night. Anyways, the combination of not having to work AND having the wife out of the house for an entire weekend is a big deal in my life. So, of course, I've spent my time working on the cars, fixing a couple of things I've been meaning to get to around the house, and working out, right? Hell no. And if finally dawned on me how much I've been laying around watching basketball when I was (finally) taking a break by having a leisurely drive (going to pick-up a pizza) and I was humming that damn ESPN bump song "Tell me what... Tell me what's your favorite color?"

Tell me I'm not the only one. Wow, I really have a talent for wasting time. This thread is point and case.

By the way, just for scientific purposes, I looked up the song and who sings it. It is by some British band and is barely listenable. And it is actually "What your favourite colour?"
