Just turned on the ND at UConn game. Who's one of the officials? Jim Burr. Seems unlikely that he can function at a high level after reffing our game last night. Haven't seen any bad calls yet but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
Providence game on ESPN2?
uoflsports.com shows tonight's game on ESPN2, but my Time Warner cable schedule shows a Strongmans competition (not Charlie Strong either). Has the game's broadcast been changed? Anyone have any info on this?

Through last nights game here are the stats:
Team - 27 of 49 - 55%
Dieng - 6 of 12 - 50%
Siva - 7 of 9 - 78%
C Smith - 7 of 9 - 78%
R Smith - 3 of 7 - 43%
Price - 0 of 3 - 0%
Buckles - 0 of 2 - 0%
Chane - 1 of 2 - 50%
Kuric - 2 of 2 - 100%
Justice - 1 of 1 for 100%
SVT - 0 for 1 - 0%
Swop - 0 for 1 - 0%
These figures are actually up a little from prior weeks but still need improvement. Hard to explain why Russ shoots so poorly, but kudos to Siva and Chris Smith for the big improvements. These three guys, plus Dieng have taken 37 of the 49 attempts. And note that on the second free throw these guys are much better:
Dieng - 4 of 6 - 67%
Siva - 6 of 7 - 86%
C Smith - 6 of 7 - 86%
R Smith - 3 of 3 - 100%
In fact, as a team we are 23 of 27 for 85% on the second shot. If only we could shoot those first.
Will Swop have to leave for Rozier to have a scholarship?
Assuming Chris and Kyle are the only departures.

Who has a link to his Acronym that he said all players will abide by? I'm thinking it was C.A.R.D.S or RESPECT or something... It comes into play a lot in everything he does and stands for and I'd argue that it's another reason he's not going anywhere for a long time.

Holy shit, you guys are acting like the world is ending. Hear my words, Louisville fans, a Big XII invite IS COMING! I have no doubt that you guys will be joining us in the Big XII when all is said in done. I think WVU was chosen over U of L because, in the even that the SEC were to go to 16, I think the Big XII wanted to get WVU first. I don't think the Big XII would have invited WVU if they didn't intend on further expansion eastward. I believe Louisville AND Cincinatti will be joining us to create an eastern division of the Big 12. I'm so suprised that so many of you have completely lost faith.

Apparently Missouri is going to end the madness for Louisville fans and apply to the SEC. As long as every report we've heard in the last few weeks about Louisville being "on deck" for the next invite are true, well.... saddle up?
According to the article here in the NY Times, the Missouri Board of Curators will meet on Thursday and Friday at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where the process of withdrawing from the Big 12 and applying to the SEC is expected to begin. Expansion is not listed on the agenda, but there is an private session scheduled Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
I think it's safe to say that things are heating up.... Mike? Thoughts?
