If there was any questions left on whether or not Louisville basketball coach Chris Mack would have problems recruiting with the FBI scandal still unresolved, I think they’ve been answered today. Trinity wing David Johnson decided to reopen his recruitment after the Louisville “scandals” became too much but today he decided to recommit to his hometown school.
Johnson’s commitment pushed Louisville’s class to third in the country per 247’s composite team rankings. I don’t think fans could ask for much more from this coaching staff, but if he lands the other top targets on the board, this program would have the talent they need to get back to where it wants to be.
