The Louisville baseball team will look to remain undefeated in ACC series this season when it takes on Clemson in the rubber match of a three-game set Monday night at 7. The game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
After a 9-1 loss in the opener, the Cards evened the series at one game apiece with a 5-3 win over the Tigers on Sunday. Corey Ray belted his team-leading 10th home run of the season in the 7th inning, and Zach Lucas followed suit moments later to propel U of L to the victory.
Despite having six ACC games remaining, Louisville's magic number for locking up the top seed in the conference tournament now sits at just 3. The Cards will have a chance to clinch the Atlantic Division on their own accord when they host Florida State for three games at Jim Patterson Stadium this weekend.
