Thoughts: Jordan is a walk-on who saw some game action last year against EKU and actually recorded four tackles for the White Squad during the Spring Game. I don’t anticipate Jordan seeing a ton of action this year as he isn’t currently listed on the depth chart, but you never know, especially in a secondary that seems to be getting smaller by the week. Injuries can occur very quickly and you don’t want to be thrown to the wolves with pee on your uniform. I’m sure he’ll be ready if called upon.
Jordan is also part of one of my greatest accomplishments on the internet. I provided him the nickname "doodlebop" over three years ago and it still hits the front page of Google to this day, along with the image.
Don’t downplay this, dammit. It’s a big deal.

All the more reason not to miss ONE SINGLE DAY of The Cardinal Countdown. You can’t get these back people. This is a moment in time that cannot be replicated. These creations are uniquely crafted and displayed for your viewing pleasure but once they’re gone, they’re go…..oh, you can go back and look at them here? Sorry about that. Moving on.

Thoughts: If you’re at work, stand up right now. You see that guy/girl about 15-20 yards away sitting in their cubicle? Grant Donovan can snap a ball through his legs and hit them square in face…pretty impressive, huh? They frown upon those things in my office but maybe you can pull it off where you slave away.
Grant has been the long snapper for three years now and has done a hell of a job. Along with the other Special Teams players, Grant usually only gets recognized in a negative fashion (i.e. "Nice snap Donovan. Who do you think is punting back there, Gorgui?"). Except for one bad snap against the Bearcats a couple seasons ago, I can’t remember any issues with Grant’s performance throughout his entire Louisville career. I think Grant will be very excited, as will I, if we don’t hear his name all season long. While Holba appears to be a nice replacement for Donovan after this year he will only have two years of eligibility left, which makes missing out on the talented Tyler Griffiths yesterday (commit to NC State) all the more disappointing. The bonus for Grant is that 'he ain’t no dummy' either. Grant received an award at ‘The Louies’ for academic excellence, having the highest GPA of all Seniors in all sports at UofL. Not too shabby. Thanks for representing the University well both on and off the field Grant. Now go snap a football at someone’s head..

This is hilarious. Never heard that one up at the old ‘Batt-n-Putt’ growing up, but heard more "F that clown" than I care to remember…
