Thoughts: I would never claim to be an expert in recruiting or analysis of incoming freshman. How do you know if the kid running over people in Tupilow, AZ is any better than the average looking player in Columbus, OH? I guess that’s why the coaches get paid big bucks. A guy who should also be getting paid big bucks is our very own GoCardsGuy who had a nice recap on Stewart last year during the recruiting process…
This is going to sound weird but I labeled Stewart as a "tackler" when I first saw his video. Some guys are just naturally gifted at tackling and don't really excel at other aspects of playing linebacker. This kid just does a great job in between the tackles and he knows how to bring down running backs. He can run well and doesn't struggle getting from sideline to sideline, but he is really good sifting through the line and making plays at or behind the line of scrimmage. Louisville's system works well for larger middle linebackers because it allows them to play downhill. Stewart should already have good size and I really think he can come in and compete for the backup middle linebacker spot next year.
I agree that Stewart will probably wind up in the middle somewhere when the dust settles. With the loss of fellow Freshman Sharieff Rhaheed from this class, Stewart’s production may be counted on significantly in the next year or two with Juniors and Seniors making up the majority of the linebacking core.

Call it bravado, confidence, self-belief, swagger, or conviction…I just hope to call it a Nostradamus like prediction.
