Thoughts: Last year’s offensive line took on some scrutiny at times, but in my opinion they played pretty well overall, especially as the season progressed. Ryan, along with returning starters Jamon Brown, John Miller and Jake Smith, made an appearance in all 13 games last year. Those four actually had a combined 51 out of 52 possible starts last season on the o-line, so the experience is there. Ryan had to sit out this spring with an injury but he expects to be back in action at right guard this summer. It will be a ‘Return of the Mack’ if you will. Sorry. With the departure of Nacho Garcia, Fraser and Bridges, the OL needs to stay healthy as depth is now a major concern for the coaching staff and the fans. Ryan has the size and strength to be a great offensive lineman and I think Klenakis can mold him into something special up front this year, prepping him to be a leader next season.
Tune in to NFL Network and watch them Louisville boys put on#CardNation— Ryan Mack (@R_MACK74) March 17, 2014
Outside of the highly scrutinized workout of one Theodore Bridgewater, the rest of the Cardinals actually performed pretty well during their respective pro days and team workouts. Obviously the majority of us corporate folk were at work while the Cards performed for the scouts here at Louisville so feel free to check out some of their pro day recaps here. I’m actually really excited about seeing the boys put on a show this year in the big league. As a Bears fan I can’t wait to see if Dunn, Senorise and our old friend Josh Bellamy all make the squad.
