Louisville Falls To Texas 4-1; Season Ends Abruptly Again In Omaha

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

Another otherwise successful season ends without a win or lead in Omaha

The baseball Cardinals finish the 2014 season with a 50-17 record, eight players and three signees drafted, and a second consecutive appearance in the College World Series. The winless record in Omaha is surely a disappointment but only because the bar keeps rising--and that's not such a bad thing.

Mike will return soon to write more about the season. Enjoy your summer and remember, it's never too early to start ACCing.
