Former Cards soccer star Andrew Farrell in line for a spot in World Cup 2018?

The only thing less certain than who will be playing for the US national team in 2018 is who will be playing right back for the US in the 2014 World Cup next month. But as the article below suggests, one of our own might be in line for that very position in the near future. Andrew Farrell, former UofL star, plays right back for the New England Revolution.

The team is very high on Andrew's ability and performance, and he helped the Revs to one of their best defensive seasons in team history in 2013. He's only 22, and despite not having any US national team experience at any level, his performances to date and continued development should warrant an eventual call-up from Jurgen Klinsmann. New England currently sits atop the Eastern Conference.
