As I have said several times in comments the last year (yes I am a newbie to the site) but I am married to a die hard UK fan from Bardstown, KY. Before every big game we talk smack and after the game is over we kiss, say I told you so, and change the flag outside of the front door to the winner. Boy did I make a mistake last night! I usually cheer for the cats when not playing us but I told her before the game that I would not cheer for them and I was hoping that UConn won. I really had a problem with this particular team and I don't know why. Bad move given the outcome. Our 14 year old daughter (Cards fan) heard words last night from her mother that she had not heard before. After the game was over I said I'm sorry and she turned around and left the room. I slept on the couch.
After all of that. GO CARDS!
