National Singing Day 2014: Trumaine Washington Signs With Louisville

Jamie Rhodes-US PRESSWIRE

The Miami pipeline is alive and well.

Louisville has received a signed letter of intent from Miami cornerback Trumaine Washington.

Washington, who took an official visit to U of L last weekend, had previously been committed to Akron, but wound up picking the Cards over Syracuse earlier this week. The 5'9, 180-pounder is rated as the 102nd-best cornerback in the class of 2014 by 247Sports.com.

"I'm a physical corner," Washington told The Courier-Journal earlier this week. "I have a lot of speed in coverage, and I have a lot of knowledge on the field. I know what I'm doing at corner.

"I'm pumped up to play in the ACC and play in my backyard."

YONKKK, indeed.
