For the first time since he suffered an oblique injury against SMU on Jan. 12, Chris Jones is set to return to the starting lineup.
Rick Pitino revealed during his pregame press conference that Jones will be back in the starting five when Louisville plays at Houston Wednesday night, taking the spot that had been occupied by freshman Terry Rozier. He's making the move despite the fact that Jones has added some weight since being sidelined, a change which has left teammates (and coaches) jokingly referring to the JUCO transfer as Raymond Felton and Kahlid El-Amin.
"We've been having a lot of laughs with his weight," Pitino said.
Heavy C?
Jones has played 23 minutes off the bench in each of his first two games back. He scored seven points and dished out three assists in a win over Central Florida, and had six points and no assists in Louisville's loss to Cincinnati.
