Bobby Petrino continued his recent run on class of 2014 commitments Monday when he received a verbal pledge from Vero Beach (Fla.) wide receiver Javonte Bagley.

Bagley, who had previously been committed to Bowling Green, was recruited by new U of L assistant Terrell Buckley during his previous stint at Akron. The 6'3, 180-pound Bagley finished his senior season with 30 catches for 449 yards (15.0 yards per catch) and six touchdowns in 11 games.
The commitment of Bagley helps soften the blow of the news that Petrino's first verbal pledge, cornerback Shaq Jones, now says he's headed to Georgia.
