St Louis Rams will not offer extension to Bradford

Latest news is that St Louis has decided not to offer a contract extension to Bradford, who is due $27 million over the next 2 years. Bradford has already received all of his guaranteed money. This is obviously a cap casualty.

Does this signal a change of heart for the management of the ball club? Could they be planning on using their #2 overall draft pick on a new QB? Is this a possible destination for Teddy? Most mocks have been based on St Louis staying with their current QB, and selecting a lineman or someone from the Defensive side of the ball. This latest news seems to throw all of that out the window.

With Manziel, Bortles, and Bridgewater, there are 3 quality qbs up for grabs, even if I happen to think Johnny will fare no better than RG# has. Houston is playing it very close to the vest, so who knows where they will go. I suspect after the combine next week, we all will know more. The Texans may actually sign their draft guy before the actual draft. Typically, when that happens, it is announced a day or so before the draft. With that not occurring until May this year, we have a few months left to wait.
