Louisville coach Bobby Petrino knew this recruiting class of 2014 needed to address the offensive line, both with players that can help right away and players will help build long-term depth. Saturday, he received some very good news on that front as four-star offensive lineman Lukayus McNeil (6'7, 285) out of Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis committed to the Cardinals' new coaching staff while in town for an official visit McNeil reported the commitment himself via his Twitter account.
Just committed to the university of Louisville. 🏈

McNeil becomes one of the highest rated players in the class. He is rated a four-star offensive tackle by 247 Sports and a three-star (5.7) offensive lineman by Rivals.com. McNeil joins fellow high school commitment Danny Burns and junior college commit Kelby Johnson as offensive line commitments. McNeil reported offers from Oklahoma, Iowa, Michigan State and other BCS level programs. He visited the Sooners in December before committing to the previous Louisville staff. After the coaching change he decommitted, only to recommit today while in Louisville for his final official visit. He is Louisville's 16th commitment.
