Florida State Day

FSU DAY
They've invaded. They've taken over our public waterfront park. They've taken up residence in the Galt House. Tonight, they'll board the drop ship AKA tour bus and place themselves strategically over Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Their foot soldiers AKA fans will hole up in the Northeast section of the stadium, paving the way for the drop ship to send Jameis, Karlos, the rest of their Elites and Brutes, and Colonel Jimbo down to the field.

Our only hope lies with a small band of rebels. Ones who would not see the devastation that twenty-three other cities saw come from this roving force of merciless villains from the planet 'Tallahassee.' Their Leader, General Bob, addressed them this morning:

General Bob

Good morning. In less than twelve hours, football players from here will join others from around the country, especially south Florida, and you will be launching the largest gridiron battle in the history of #CardNation.

#CardNation -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.

We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.

We will be united in our common interests (#goacc).

Perhaps its fate that today is the 30th of October although it would be way better if it were a national holiday or something, and you will be fighting for our freedom, not from SEC tyranny, Selection Committee oppression, or #BBN persecution -- but from annihilation.

We're fighting for our right to live, to win the Atlantic Division.

And should we win the day, the 30th of October will no longer be known as some obscure fall day, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:

"We will not go quietly into the night!

We will not vanish without a fight!

We're going to play on!

We're going to survive!"

Today, we celebrate #BeatFSU Day!

It's almost here.
