While most ACC previews this offseason have had Louisville slotted behind only Duke in their predicted order of finish, the members of the league's media apparently aren't quite as sold on the conference's newest team.
U of L is third in the ACC's preseason media poll, trailing both the Blue Devils and their arch-rivals from North Carolina. Virginia and Syracuse round out the poll's top five.
As for the individual honors, Tar Heel guard Marcus Paige was named as the ACC Preseason Player of the Year, receiving 33 votes to Montrezl Harrell's 16. Harrell and Paige are joined on the All-ACC team by preseason Rookie of the Year Jahlil Okafor (Duke), as well as Virginia guard Malcolm Brogdon and Notre Dame guard Jerian Grant.
