Mel Kiper Has Johnny Manziel Going No. 1, Teddy No. 8

Andy Lyons

In his initial projection (insider link) for 2014, lord of the NFL Draft, Mel Kiper, has the Houston Texans selecting former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel with the No. 1 overall pick.

As for the guy most other experts have being the first quarterback selected, Kiper has Teddy Bridgewater going to the Minnesota Vikings with the eighth pick...four picks behind former Central Florida QB Blake Bortles. That's right, Mel Kiper has Teddy Bridgewater being the third quarterback taken in this year's NFL Draft.

This is probably a good point to go ahead and post this:

We'll see what happens, but all of this means very little.
