Louisville football is back! Congratulations! We made it through the offseason. Here are a few observations from the victory over Ohio, mostly in .gif form.
CARD MARCH! Way to go everyone who attended.
It was great to see LOZO ready to GO...(ZO?) Does this look like a man who was recently removed from a moped? I thought not. Champaign-colored sedans and or compact cars beware.
Also great to see back in action, Senoris---WOOOOP LOOK OUT JAMON! Let this be a lesson to everyone, Senorise Perry will stiff arm you, teammate or not. GET OUT OF HIS WAY!
First touchdown of the season goes to Damian Copeland via Teddy Bridgewater. I've always said these two go together like honey, mustard, and water...and a bridge.
NO NO NO TED, YOU THE MAN.
Here's a couple of .gifs of James Burgess making some nice tackles. This guy is only a Sophomore, get familiar.
Obligatory pass to Eli Rogers for 15 yards. I've already got my fantasy picks for QB and WR in 2016.
Now to be fair there are some areas where we can improve. The refs were quite familiar with the false start motion, or maybe they were just dancing. If you look long enough at the .gif it just looks like he is saying "boom" and dancing. Either way it was really hard to be upset over the OL penalties with the way the team played the rest of the game.
BRIDGEWATER WANTS TO MAKE THEM PAY IMMEDIATELY AND HE DOES!!! HONEY + MUSTARD + WATER + BRIDGE = TD
What's that Joe Tessitore? You want to talk schedule? Okay pull it up and let's take a closer look at it. Wait --- wait a second, oh no, I'm so sorry folks --- Joe that wasn't nice.
Well it's about half time look at that glorious stadium shot. Oh, hey I can see me.
What about that Hakeem Smith interception though? It was like he was saving an endangered species from it's demise of lava ground which he is somehow himself unharmed by. In fact, Computer, load "hakeemsmithsavesredpanda.gif"
Michael Dyer breaking free for a 46 yard TD run.
The rare fumble reception, you're lucky that wasn't a red panda or Hakeem Smith would surely have it in his grasp. Tackling you onto your own teammate will have to do though.
Thus concludes the .gifst of it --- c'mon it works, give it a chance.
