Despite another noon kickoff and an opponent arguably worse than the Eastern Kentucky team that came to town two Saturdays ago, the U of L ticket office has announced that this weekend's game against Florida International is a sell out.
It's the third straight sellout to open the season for Louisville, which also sold some of the tickets returned from FIU's allotment.
Cardinal fans have flocked to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in record numbers so far this season, producing the second-highest attendance in school history for the season-opener against Ohio, and the fifth-most attended game a week later against EKU.
Tickets remain for U of L's other four home games: Oct. 10 against Rutgers, Oct. 18 against Central Florida, Nov. 16 against Houston and Nov. 23 against Memphis.
