Notre Dame Will Play At Louisville In 2017

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

U of L athletic director Tom Jurich said today that Notre Dame's new scheduling agreement with the ACC will allow the Cardinal to play the Fighting Irish every three years on a rotating home-and-home basis.

With U of L already scheduled to visit South Bend next season, the agreement would send Notre Dame into Papa John's Cardinal Stadium at some point in the 2017 season. That is pretty cool.

The news marks a bit of vindication for Jurich, who says he's been "begging" Notre Dame to play U of L for years now.
