Here's a link to Cisco's tournament profile, which has links to each boxscore and game write-up, with video highlights.
He had big games against Canada and Puerto Rico to help get the DR into the semis. That qualified them, along with PR, Mexico and Argentina for Spain 2014. It's so great to see that Cisco is still thriving on the international scene. He averaged double digit points for the tournament and made his usual contribution to steals and blocked shots.
His move to Houston has seemed to resurrect his career quite a bit. Last year's playoff run against Durant and the Thunder was something that we all knew he could do and reminded us of what he did for the city here. Here's hoping his run of good basketball fortune continues. He's set to make another cool $1.25M/year to come off the bench for the Rockets this season and next. After all that's happened to him, I wonder if there's a way we can figure out to honor him. I know the jersey retirement thing probably isn't in store, but we must have some sort of Ring/Walk of Fame or something that he could be honored with. He truly is one of the most special individuals to have played at Louisville. Just ask anyone in Sacramento about who he is as a person.
Here's Good Edgar's tournament profile:
As neecebravo mentions below, it's great to see that Edgar's back on the court and playing well. Even if he doesn't ever make an NBA roster, the guy has talents that have brought him to the Spanish league, which is arguably the 2nd best league in the world.
