#27 Jermaine Reve
Class: RS Sophomore
Hometown: Miami, Fla
Thoughts: I love me some Jermaine. The guy is just a redshirt sophomore and is already playing like he's a Junior or Senior. Did he make some mistakes last season? Sure, but he had some amazing plays as well. As a redshirt freshman Reve played in all 13 games and finished 8th on the team with 32 tackles. While Jermaine is still listed officially as a safety he usually sees the field when the Cards go into the Nickel package. One of my favorite plays from Jermaine was in the Sugar Bowl when he knocked the ball loose in the endzone and ultimately eliminated a TD for the Gators. He played it perfectly on the much taller tightend, Jordan Reed, and punched it loose as he was on the way down. Beautiful. Keep an eye on Reve, Ross, Houchins and Holliman as they turn into one of the best secondary units in the nation over the next couple years. The train is rolling!

I'm doing the best I can Jermaine. I mean, I started this countdown 73 days ago. 73 days! I know that 27 days isn't really that long to wait but it seems like it's taking forever. I want some football! Hall of Fame game last night? Didn't do it for me. You give me Dolphins, I give you Shark Week: Megalodon. Not even close NFL. Poor Dolphins didn't have a chance.
