According to WDRB, Lorenzo Mauldin has been released from the hospital:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- University of Louisville football defensive end Lorenzo Mauldin was released from Jewish Hospital on Wednesday morning. The university says all of the tests and evaluations continue to be positive. It also says he has no serious injuries and that it is evaluating whether he will play during Sunday's season opener against Ohio. Mauldin was riding his moped on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car near the intersection of Floyd and Hahn Streets. The search for the hit-and-run driver continues.
This is great news! Sounds like the concern was of possible head injuries due to reports he wasn't wearing a helmet. So glad it appears he's going to be ok, as he is projected to be an important part of our National Championship run this season.
