UofL Makes New York Times Front Page

The University of Louisville Cardinals have made the front page of the New York Times today. In a series about the effects that ESPN has had on college football, the New York Times looks into how the 4-letter network has been a major part of the rise in national profile for the Cards. While many of us are a bit "disinterested" in ESPN, it is hard not to agree that the exposure UofL has received over the last decade or so on ESPN has been invaluable. From C-USA to the Big East to the ACC, UofL has had quite a meteoric rise to the upper levels of college sports. The article is worth a read:
