Better late than never.....

#15 Hunter Bowles

Class: RS Freshman

Ht/Wt: 6-6/265

Position: Tight End

Hometown: Glasgow, Ky

Twitter: @hbowles15

Thoughts: Hunter was a pretty solid get for the Cards, unfortunately he has had some health issues the last two years but appears to be getting back to 100%. I think it will be difficult for Bowles to make his big break throug this season as Christian, Hubbell and even Pike to some extent seem to be controlling the market at the TE position. I like Hunter to take on a larger role next year with Hubbell gone and only one experienced TE if Christina returns. Hopefully Hunter gets back to a level where he can practice at full speed and start earning some reps for the next few years to come. His 6-6 frame will present a large target for whomever takes over the reins next season. I like our future at this position.

The real question is, would new Mike like old Hunter? Or better yet, would Old Mike like new Hunter? These are the questions that spin the globe people. Try and wrap your mind around that and get back with me.

#15 Andrew Johnson

Class: Junior

Ht/Wt: 5-9/186

Position: Cornerback

Hometown: Miami, Fla

Twitter: @LockDown15

Thoughts: I'm happy to announce that The Prez won the popular vote and the electoral vote and will return as your starting cornerback in 2013! Some pundits attributed Johnson's victory to his personality and his friendliness to the fan base. "He had the charisma and charm to really win over those who controlled the vote this year, women and children. I mean, he has been out there shaking hands and blowing kisses the last two seasons" said a Cardinal representative.

Others attributed Johnson's success to his play on the field. "The kid had 26 tackles, an interception, 2 pass breakups and a fumble recovery. He was a beast last year" yelled his campaign leader Charlie Strong.

No matter which side of the argument you may be on, one thing is for sure, Johnson will provide another spark in the secondary and be a leader to the younger players around him. Congratulations to Andrew and the rest of his supporters. For those interested, his inauguration will take place on Sunday September 1st against some unfortunate kids from Ohio. I recommend you attend.

I've convinced myself now that I should have written my own vows at my wedding. There would have been a hand full of things I would have loved to added to mix, but first on the list is DON’T TOUCH THE DAMN THERMOSTAT! I've got the opposite problem of the Prez, as it's always burning up at my house! I don't care about the money but my poor dog is passed out over in the corner from heat exhaustion, laying in a pile of drool. Also, little known fact...if its set at 72 degrees and you turn it all the way up to lets say 85 degrees, that doesn't mean its going to get warmer faster...it just means the damn house is going to be 85 degrees. Don't like the temperature? Get naked. Unless of course you're an older individual with thin skin and poor circulation. Then please enjoy the temperature at a comfortable setting.....nobody wants to see that.

That got weird.
