AAC Conference Championships

I was surprised to see a short blurb in the St. Pete Times the other day that the AAC Baseball Championships would be played at Brighthouse field in Clearwater, FL, thus continuing a Big East legacy for te Cards' pre-ACC year. I Goggled AAC championships and found a bunch of individual articles stating that a championship would be played somewhere or another, but there was no hit for the AAC webpage. Even when Googling "American Athletic Conference Championships" instead of "AAC Championships", the new conference website was not one of the search results.

That says to me that our new conference website needs a few more hits to increase its relevance, at least that's how I imagine the search engine generates results. The website is www.theamerican.org. At one time I had observed, as was noted on CC, that The Bird head had not been included in the website's banner. That "oversight" has been corrected and our logo is smack dab in the middle with The University of Memphis' tiger, which just seems to be appropriate.

If interested, the line up of sites for next year's AAC championships can be found at http://www.theamerican.org/sports/2013/6/22/MBB_0622130547.aspx. Go take a look and start long range planning to witness what I hope will be total domination by our Cardinals!

Waiting impatiently for Sept 1. Go Cards!
