Getting in the Football Spirit

Who am I kidding, none of us ever had a chance to get out of the spirit. Thanks to ESPN Radio's spot where they play some of the most important radio clips from the season that was The Year of the Cardinal, I decided that it was again time to watch the first play from scrimmage in the Sugar Bowl, where reportedly, it could not have been a better start for the Cardinals. Well, thanks to LordKayoss, I popped in my Sugar Bowl BluRay DVD and watched the opening kickoff and the feelings I got on that next play were again indescribable. Yes, it is still the same feeling that I got when I saw it in person, and the same I have gotten every time I have seen or heard it since early January. But that feeling is still one of those feelings that can rarely be matched.

Well, suffice it to say that 4 hours later, I now have my You Got Carded t-shirt on, my Sugar Bowl Champions hat on, am holding my Sugar Bowl Champions souvenir football, and am so ready for the season to get here. I seriously told myself I was going to watch just the first few minutes, but just like the Cardinal Spirit, watching this game was addictive and contageous. I watched the whole game... again. I am OSM, and I am a Cardinaholic. Really looking forward to the season to get started just like all of you. Go Cards! I'll see you in the stands.
