1980 signed basketball question

I have a buddy at work who has a signed 1980 basketball....I have seen pics and I can say that it looks legit. I have a 1982 signed ball and the signatures that are on both are identical. I got mine at an open practice (as he did as well)...he does not have an Authenticity card for it but would like to sell it...any suggestions? Other than the obvious: "Get it authenticated", "Ebay", "Craigslist"....he didn't know about CC so I sent him a link and he will be joining the fun soon...
