Louisville Baja Season Wrap Up

The 2013 Baja SAE season has officially come to an end. Baja SAE is a competition where universities from around the world design, build, and race off-road vehicles.

Louisville Baja SAE completed its best season to date taking home three top ten overall finishes(8th of 100, 5th of 87, 2nd of 100).

In addition to placing 1st in the 4-hour endurance race during the Rochester, NY event, the team also picked up 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings in design in the Tennessee, Washington, and New York events respectively.

Louisville driver Brad Arlinghaus managed to pass the lead car on the last turn of the final race to take home the checkered flag. The team he passed? The University of Michigan.

Here's the post-race handshake. Ultroll_medium
