Holy Crap....5 years!!

I have just realized that I have been a member of Card Chronicle for 5 years as of June 2nd, 2008. I remember the year fondly as I was working as a mortgage banker at First Residential aka Surepoint Lending aka Some Big Ass Bank. We use to leave the office at 5pm for cocktails at Crapplebee's then head back to the office at 7pm to call people in California to convince them to allow someone in Kentucky to handle their finances. Needless to say, its not an easy sale after 2 hours of drinking & socializing.

It was there that a young man by the name of Matt Miranda told me about Card Chronicle and its diverse & scholarly approach to UofL athletic coverage. I immediately signed up and have never looked back. I have shared in the highs & lows of our program over those five years and wouldnt trade them for anything.

I have not met any one of you people out & about, but still hope to run into Mike or ULHotHot at some bar somewhere TBD & unknown (it must be pure coincidence) to take this 5 year experience full-circle.

I learned so much & wanted to share my appreciation.

Card Chronicle is where it's at!! Here is to being a lifetime member!!
