The Team USA Trip is proving to be very useful for our favorite Trez. In his 3rd start for Team USA, Montrezl Harrell went a perfect 6-for-6 (Harrell 6 Rim 0) from the field added 3 steals and 2 rebounds in only 13 minutes of play.
Billy Donovan's team put racketed up the defensive intensity to cruise past Russia in a dominating 115-47 victory to cap FIBA U19 World Championship first-round play in Prague, Czech Republic. In the first three games of the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship, this squad has owned a 61.0 point a game margin of victory, and is forcing opponents into 26.7 turnovers a game.
With the win, Team USA improved to 3-0 and earned Group D's No. 1 Seed for Round 2 of the U19 World Championship Tournament.
Coach Billy D on the Defense:
"They obviously had a hard time with the press, and I thought our athleticism inside, the pace of the game and us turning them over really caused them some problems. I thought we did a pretty good job of defending the 3-point line,"

It has been asked if there are any live feeds for these games avilable online. I asked FIBA media partner livebasketball.tv if they carried any of the Team USA games and they responded with a NO. Unfortunately the coverage in Prague isn't as great as we would like. I say we all need to push Mayor Greg to get Louisville on the list of U19 future host cities so we don't have to worry about this in the future. In the meantime..Keep Trezzin Y'all!
