We are less than 8 hours away from the 2013 NBA Draft. SlamOnline.com has written an fantastic analysis on Peyton Siva that covers his path to Louisville, his accomplishments and what this special player brings to the table for any team lucky enough to draft him.
Everyone knows that he is aggressive on defense, lightning quick with the ball and can leap buildings in a single bound but detractors that think he has a suspect shot should watch the video as Peyton drains 8 three pointers in a row from the NBA line. One of Peyton's greatest asset is his team first mentality and is quoted as saying “My first year it was tough because you’re used to looking to score, naturally, but then you also have to look to pass and you always don’t make the right reads,” Siva admitted of his change of roles. “This past year, a lot of people were like, ‘You need to come out your senior year and score all these points.” “To be honest, that wasn’t for me. We had a bunch of guys and couldn’t be selfish or egotistical. I wanted to get everyone the ball and get wins because at the end of the day, that’s all that really matters. My job was easy.” Siva has also answers the questions in regards to concerns about his height head on and is quoted as saying "For anyone who questions height, I really don’t think it matters as long as you have heart and come to play.”
Good luck tonight Peyton and hopefully you land on a team that will appreciate and utilize your skills.
