The linebacker from Tucker, Georgia was recently offered by the home state Georgia Bulldogs and although he had said he was sticking with Louisville for now, he couldn't turn down the chance to play for Georgia. This shouldn't be a big shock for those who have been following football recruiting closely over the past weeks as many experts predicted him to flip to Georgia once he was offered. He was the only linebacker in Louisville's class so far and was one of the highest rated. he also received an offer from Ohio State after committing to the Cards. Let's hope Charlie can land another elite linebacker prospect in Brandon Lee who is very high on the Cards but is in no rush to make a commitment.
(I guarantee he gets bumped to a 4-star recruit now that he has committed to an SEC school.)
