The Cardinal Countdown...77 days till kickoff

#77 Abraham Garcia

Class: Sophomore Ht/Wt: 6- 5/352 Position: Offensive Line Hometown: Fort Lauderdale, FLA Twitter: NA

Thoughts: Abraham (Who are we kidding, his name is Nacho) got to see some reps as the season progressed last year. Coach Broberly has helped with his progression and 6 of the last 7 games Nacho got some decent PT at left tackle. For those of you not concerned with all the details of the game, left tackle is a pretty damn important role on the team, especially when you've got a potential Heisman candidate in the backfield. He protects Teddy's blindside and makes sure that some angry 300lb beast doesn't treat our QB like an tackling dummy. Nacho has the size to compete at the next level and is developing the necessary skills as well. It should be entertaining to see how Garcia grows within the program over the next three years.

Sweet Tweet: No twitter, but an amazing concept has emerged....putting a little honey mustard on my nachos.

#84 Colin Holba

Class: RS Freshman Ht/Wt: 6-2/215 Position: Long Snapper Hometown: Louisville,KY (Product of Eastern High School) Twitter: (@ColinHolba)

Thoughts: Colin comes to the Cards via Eastern High School two years ago. Colin took a redshirt last season and looks to be backing up Mr. Grant Donovan this year at the long snapper position. Not a lot of love shown to the long snappers but they can really screw up a game if they're not on point. While I only really expect to punt the ball about eight times this season (calm down, it's a joke... We all know it will really only be 3 times) expect Grant to take the reins. Colin will get some work in, fine tune his skills and fill the void when called upon. Your time is coming, looking forward to seeing you in action big eight-four.

Sweet Tweet:

Couldn't agree more Colin. Shaving has to be on my Top 5 list of most annoying things to do. How do feel about the old razor Luke...?
