There will be more baseball inside Jim Patterson Stadium this season.
Though Louisville lost its shot at a national seed with a dismal two and out performance in the Big East Tournament last week, the Cards were still named one of the 16 programs who will host a regional to begin the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
In a somewhat eerie twist of fate, U of L will share a regional with Miami and Oklahoma State, two of the programs it had to knock off in order to advance to its only College World Series back in 2007. U of L beat the 'Canes twice in the Columbia Regional before taking two out of three from Oklahoma State in the supers to advance to Omaha.
Here's the lineup for this weekend at The Pat:
Friday, May 31
Game 1: 2 PM Miami (FL) vs. Oklahoma State
Game 2: 6 PM Louisville vs. Bowling Green
Saturday, June 1
Game 3: 12 PM Game 3 Loser 1 vs. Loser 2
