Isaiah Ford, a four-star wide receiver from Jacksonville, became the 13th member of the 2014 class (and the eighth from the state of Florida) to commit to Louisville when he did so on Saturday.
Ford, a 6'2, 170-pound standout for Trinity Christian Academy, had scholarship offers from a host of schools, including Florida State, Ohio State, Oregon and Virginia Tech. His final decision reportedly came down to U of L and South Carolina.
Ford is a high school teammate of offensive lineman Kavaris Harkless, who committed to Louisville last month.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about Ford is that he is also an all-league basketball player who has expressed interest in playing the sport at U of L as well. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
