Gorgui Dieng has picked the agent to guide him into the wide world of professional basketball, and that man is Makhtar N'Diaye. DraftExpress.com was the first to report the news.
Like Dieng, N'Diaye is a native of Senegal who became the first person from the country to play in the NBA. He graduated from North Carolina in 1998 and spent the '98-'99 season as a member of the Vancouver Grizzlies. He also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Championship in 1998 and 2006, and played on the team that won the FIBA Africa Championship in 1997.
N'Diaye is also the agent of former Marquette standout Vander Blue, and previously represented former Louisville signee Jeremy Tyler.
I think I speak for all of us when I say...you take good care of our guy or we'll find you.
